Dog Training

In-home Private Training and Coaching

• We come to you!  We meet your pup in its comfort zone where he or she is set up for success.  During these training sessions we teach cued behaviors to your pup and then coach you (puppy parents and family) on how to continue, practice and properly reinforce what your puppy learns in class.
• This is our Favorite approach as it is the best way to build mutual trust and respect between you and your canine family members.  With this bond in place a common language can flourish making communication seamless and fostering a calm confidence in your pup.

Board and Train

• With this approach your puppy has an extended stay at our home (anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on training expectations/needs).  During this time we teach basic obedience cues (sit, down, go, stay, hop-up, off, mine or leave-it, and door protocols and polite leash walking) and begin the process of proofing these behaviors for the three Ds (Distractions, Distance and Duration).  We also use this time to properly socialize your pup to various experiences, interaction with a neutral pack, and proper introductions and playtime with other dogs which will foster a well balanced, confident temperament in your canine companion.
• This approach is helpful for a busy and active household with high energy and high distractions.  It is an effective way to teach a puppy to remain calm in an otherwise hectic setting.  We recommend this approach under unique circumstances which may be determined after an in-home initial consultation with you and your puppy has been conducted.

Boarding Services

• We board your canine family member in a comfortable home setting among well trained and properly socialized canines of all ages, sizes, and energy levels while you and your family are on vacation.  This is a service we extend to all pups currently involved in training and to those who previously graduated from our training program FOR THE LIFE OF YOUR CANINE COMPANION!  We want them to always have a familiar, safe and comfortable place to come when they can’t be by your side.  
• If you are interested but have concerns about leaving your pup, Schedule a Meet and Greet Appointment where you join your pup for a 30-45 minute tour of the grounds and observe the initial introductions between your pups and ours.

Weekly Playcare Events

• We host weekly playcare days at our home every Wednesday from 8am - 5pm (earlier drop off or later pickup available upon request). This provides opportunities for your pup to experience new environments and make new canine friends during playtime on a weekly basis.  This helps your pup stay fluent in their doggie dialects even if they are an only-dog at home. (teaches pups to read the body language and play styles of other dogs, especially those signals given by breeds other than their own.)
• Playcare is also an opportunity to tighten up on known cued behaviors in high distraction settings, and to experience calm conditioning while surrounded by other animals and in new environments.
• Regular playcare opportunities allow your canine family member to be a dog among other dogs for a day!  This helps alleviate pent up energy both physical and mental, for a calm, balanced, and confident lifestyle at home.
